Map everywhere you've been.
Keep it in your own iCloud.
Passport Stamps is a travel map for iPhone, iPad, and Mac. Mark countries, states, cities, and landmarks as visited, lived-in, or want-to-go — and share a living trip map with family, in real time, without ever handing your data to a company's server.
A map you actually own
Every pin, note, and photo is stored with Apple's SwiftData and synced through your own private iCloud account — not a database we run. There's nothing to sign up for, and nothing to hand over: Passport Stamps has no backend server, no analytics, and no advertising or tracking SDKs of any kind. See the privacy policy for the specifics.
Real collaboration, not just a shared view
Create a TripMap and invite the people you travel
with. Everyone can add and edit locations on it — sharing works
through Apple's CloudKit sharing (CKShare), moving data
directly between your and your collaborators' iCloud accounts. There's
no hosting cost standing between you and your family's map, so
sharing stays free no matter how many people join.
Built for how you actually travel
- Tap a country or state on the map to mark it — real borders, not just a pin
- Track status per place: visited, want to go, lived there, or want to go again
- Attach photos and notes to any location
- Curated checklists with a selection of U.S. National Parks and UNESCO World Heritage Sites
- Coverage stats — percent of the world visited, countries, states, and continents
- "Year in Passport" — a personal annual recap of everywhere you went
- Export your map or stats as a shareable image or PDF
- Full dark mode, and a native app on iPhone, iPad, and Mac
Coming to the App Store
